Business, Product & Person Scoring Models

unCapitali.se has created a weighted scoring index that uses positive and negative screening concepts. The three rubrics in use cover businesses, products and people.

Scores for these businesses, products and people are based on similar criteria, with the caveat that products are applied or ingested and can be assessed on objective health assessments on humans or animals. People bare further scrutiny, as they have civic, fiduciary and ethical responsibilities to steer their companies, investments and products in a direction not only of doing no harm, but of being beneficial to their customers, vendors and the global community.

Scores will be based on the following categories, with some being weighted more than others. For example, if a product is environmentally friendly, but profits go to politicians and PACs that work to weaken environmental regulation or work to get pardons or favorable judicial rulings, the product will still be rated unfavorably in the environmental category.

These scores will be based on a scale of -100 to +100, with the lowest end of the scale being very unfavorable/harmful and the highest end being favorable/beneficial. In this way, we hope to create a system that can be objectively applied over time, though in the beginning it may be a bit subjective until a rubric for qualitative analysis is selected.
