Welcome to unCapitali.se - We are a wiki based on a specific subset of knowledge. Unlike Wikipedia.org, we do not seek to write about all knowledge under the sun. Our goal is specific: to report on the relationships between a company and its' products, shareholders, host community, vendors, workers and the government via lobbyists, politicians, and Political Action Committees (PACs). The idea is to use this information not to create a complete picture of the business or its history and activities, but rather to cut through the advertising mythology and corporate assertions to form objective and qualitative synopses. These synopses will form the basis of a corporate, product, owner, donor and politician scores.

Business Score

Scores will be based on the following categories, with some being weighted more than others. For example, if a product is environmentally friendly, but profits go to politicians an PACs that work to weaken environmental regulation or work to get pardons or favorable judicial rulings, the product will still be rated unfavorably in the environmental category.

- Fair Lobbying Practices
- Fair Trade Practices

- Fair Taxation (Not-externalizing housing, wage or health care underpayments to taxpayers)

These scores will be based on a scale of -100 to +100, with the lowest end of the scale being very unfavorable/harmful and the highest end being favorable/beneficial. In this way, we hope to create a system that can be objectively applied over time, though in the beginning it may be a bit subjective until a rubric is for qualitative analysis is selected.

As eluded to earlier, a weighting system is necessary as certain criteria are more influential than others. If they were not, corporations would not lobby to buy time with and access to politicians. We wish it were not that way, but in the struggle to understand which products and stores are more beneficial or harmful than others, it becomes necessary to enter into the detailed analysis to categorize and re-categorize information as it becomes available.

Who We Are

unCapitali.se is a Minnesota based business started by former Mayor Bjorn Skogquist. His observation is a somber one. His preference would have been to include this information in Wikipedia.org, and to found a non-profit to take donations to advance this work. However, the Trump Administration is actively canceling 501(c)(3) non-profit charters for suspicions political reasons, and anything with a .com address is subject to terrorism charges equally as suspect, which allows the government to shut off domain names it deems dangerous to its agenda.

Mr. Skogquist has therefor set for this project apart from any other existing project. It has no affiliation with any other U.S. based project. unCapitali.se has servers in Sweden, which boasts one of the strongest sets of free press laws on earth.

Articles are written by volunteers, but staff are involved in management, maintenance, promotion and corporate governance and finance. It is hoped that a balance between the virtues of a non-profit/NGO and the protections and advantages of a corporation will provide the maximum amount of flexibility and resources necessary. it is the hope of all involved that this project quickly move from an information gathering phase to a more active phase involving recommendations and and collective action.

How You Can Help

Though unCapitali.se is a business, it seeks volunteer writers, editors and researchers. We look for assistance in sharing articles, summary memes, business scores, quotes, etc. It is our hope to grow from the illegal occupation of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota and other cities across America to a proactive pursuit of avoiding accidental investment in the companies that benefit from anti-democratic, unconstitutional & authoritarian power structures.

Mr. Skogquist, seeking a way to assist in the fight against the murders of Alex Pretti, Renee Good and at least 6 others nation wide at the hands of Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, vowed to stop funding any company or politician who has supported any action that makes this world less stable, whether in the United States or abroad. His motto in this regard is, "Not one cent."

To this end, he is actively working to examine his personal investments and expenditures. He has further committed to cataloguing what he calls toxic money at the source via this wiki, and in so doing, create templates, procedures and to work with others to make this project as broad and comprehensive as possible.

He, and the others currently volunteering towards this effort, seek your honest feedback, advice, and most importantly, your mutual aid in assisting us build this project into something that companies and politicians can no longer ignore.
